With an area of 3643.33 km2 (6.45% of RH) Zadar County is one of the largest, most diverse county in the Republic of Crpatia. To Zadar County belongs about 3632.9 km2 of sea area (11.6% of Croatian sea), which since ancient times has an important transport and economic impact on development of this area.
